Compatibility beyond one score

A matching score is a starting point. Communication, values, timing, and the full charts matter more than a single number.

What kuta matching does

Ashtakuta matching compares eight Moon-based factors and produces a score out of thirty-six. It is a traditional screening framework, not a complete judgement of a relationship. Regional traditions may also use different weighting or additional checks.

The full charts still matter

A responsible review considers the ascendant, seventh house and its lord, Venus, Jupiter, Mars, the Moon, relevant divisional charts, and repeating themes across both charts. A high kuta score cannot erase serious contradictions elsewhere, and a modest score does not automatically prevent a healthy partnership.

Doshas require careful verification

Labels such as Manglik dosha should be checked using the tradition being followed, including cancellation and balancing conditions. Presenting one placement as a reason for fear, rejection, or expensive remedies is not responsible practice.

People are more than charts

Consent, communication, safety, shared goals, family expectations, and practical compatibility are essential. Astrology can structure a conversation, but it should not override direct knowledge of the relationship.

This guide offers general educational context. Personal interpretation requires accurate birth details and the complete chart.
